What's a good location for a session?
Knoxville offers a variety of indoor and outdoor options for sessions. I personally recommend The Lightfoot Studio for most indoor sessions. I'm happy to give recommendations for other options as well.
Do you offer other sessions than weddings and lifestyle?
Although I specialize in those areas, I capture a wide variety of sessions... family, branding, in home, maternity, team photos, themed shoots, styled sessions and more.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely! I've captured weddings in Italy, Mexico, Chicago, Texas, California, Cabo, DC, St. Lucia and more. Let's talk details.
Will there be a second shooter?
Yes! All wedding packages include a hand picked 2nd photographer.
Do you help pose your clients?
Yes!!! I've spent endless hours learning the art of posing others. I even send inspirational images to help get the creativity flowing days before the shoot!
What if we want film?
You're in luck! I LOVE film! The Premier Wedding Package includes film (120mm and 35mm). A typical wedding will come with anywhere from 30 - 60+ film photos). You can also add film photos to a lifestyle session.
What's your turn around time?
It varies based on the season but for standard sessions the turn around time is 1-2 weeks. Weddings are 6-8 weeks. During the Fall and Holidays, add a 1 week to standard sessions and up to 2 weeks for weddings.
What type of lighting do you use?
A mix! For indoor, I usually prefer either constant lighting or strobes. For outdoor, natural light all the way.
